
Jinbing Bai, PhD, MSN, RN, FAAN
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
Dr. Bai is an Associate Professor (with Tenure) at Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and a member of Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University. His research expertise includes patient-reported outcomes, gut microbiome, and microbiome-gut-brain axis across cancer treatment trajectories. He has led multiple projects sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Oncology Nursing Foundation, NRG Oncology, American Cancer Society, and American Nurses Foundation. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. He has more than 130 peer-reviewed publications, with more than 2500 citations and an h-index of 28. His work has been published in journals, such as International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, Cancers, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Supportive Care in Cancer, and Omics. He has been invited as an editorial board member for Pain Management Nursing and International Journal of Nursing Science. He serves as a member in the NCI National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Working Groups.
