Dr. Jinbing Bai and his colleagues won the Wiley Top Cited Article recognization regarding his paper on PhD-DNP scholarly collaboration. The article was published in prestigious journal Research in Nursing & Health (RINAH). Great work!!!

ONS Annual Conference Presentation
Dr. Jinbing Bai and his mentees, Dr. Mays Basha and Honors student Maria Norman, will present their research at the upcoming ONS Annual Congress in San Antonio. Dr. Bai has been invited as a speaker to discuss advances in symptom science and implications for oncology nursing practice, highlighting mechanism-driven approaches to improving patient-reported outcomes and supportive cancer care. Dr. Basha will present research examining symptom profiles among children receiving cellular therapy, with a focus on understanding symptom burden and supportive care needs in pediatric oncology populations. Maria Norman will present her award-winning honors thesis focused on transportation insecurity among patients receiving radiation therapy, emphasizing the impact of social determinants of health on access to cancer treatment and patient outcomes.

Emory Nursing Student and Scholar Day, Top Poster Award
Our Honors student Maria Norman (with Dr. Deborah Bruner) presented her thesis on Transportation Navigation for Cancer Care Tool (TRACT) among cancer patients with radiotherapy in the Student and Scholar Day. Her post won the #1ST place in the student category, congratulations.

Congratulations to Caitlin Webber with new publicaiton
We are proud to share that Caitlin, our current PhD student, has published her first data-based manuscript titled: “The Impact of Perceived Cognitive Function and Psychoneurological Symptoms on Health-Related Quality of Life in Pediatric Survivors of Posterior Fossa Tumors: A Mediation Analysis.”
This study was supported by the Woodruff Health Science Center Independent Scholar Award and was published in Cancer Nursing (Impact Factor: 2.5, Q1).
Congratulations to Caitlin on this significant scholarly milestone.
